Understanding RICOCHET Anti-Cheat in 2026

RICOCHET uses several layers to identify unauthorized activity in Call of Duty. Understanding those layers helps separate official requirements from claims made in product listings.

  • Server-side tools and analysis. Activision describes monitoring and analytics that work alongside its PC driver. A visible overlay or a particular aiming setting does not tell you what those systems can detect. Read the RICOCHET overview.
  • A kernel-level PC driver. According to Activision, the driver runs while a protected Call of Duty title is running and monitors software interacting with the game. This is separate from the PC’s startup security requirements. See how the driver operates.
  • TPM 2.0 and Secure Boot. Black Ops 7 and Warzone require these PC security features. Use the current official guidance for your system and motherboard. Check the PC requirements.
  • Account enforcement. Activision lists unauthorized software, including aimbots and wallhacks, among its policy violations. A paid license or a provider’s product status does not override that policy. Read the enforcement policy.

Warzone cheat features: what the terms mean

Feature names appear across product pages, videos, and community discussions. This glossary explains the terminology; it is not a list of verified ETERNAL capabilities. Confirm the current feature set for your game and platform with our team.

1. Aim assistance and aiming controls

Native controller aim assist is part of a game’s own input system. Third-party automated aiming tools are a different category. Labels such as field of view, smoothing, or target selection describe controls within a tool; they do not establish that it is permitted or safe to use.

2. ESP and visual information

ESP usually describes an overlay that displays information about players or objects. Product descriptions may mention names, distance, health, or item labels. Check exactly which information is supported, how it is displayed, and whether the description applies to the current game build.

3. Radar overlays

A radar overlay presents position information in a compact map-style view. It is different from the game’s built-in minimap and its normal information rules. Ask whether a listing refers to an overlay, an in-game display, or simply a menu preview.

4. Recoil-related controls

Recoil labels may refer to camera movement, weapon movement, or automated compensation. Those are different behaviors. A broad “no recoil” label does not explain which one a product changes or whether it supports a particular weapon or game update.

5. Capture and streaming visibility

“Stream-proof” commonly refers to whether an overlay appears in a recording or broadcast. Capture visibility and anti-cheat detection are separate questions. Never treat a clean recording as proof that software is undetectable or that an account is protected.

Warzone, Multiplayer, and Ranked: what to check

Each playlist has its own pace, format, and entry requirements. Use those differences to check compatibility and access. They are not a reliable way to rank where unauthorized software is “safer.”

Questions to confirm for your game mode
ModeGameplay focusBefore you start
Battle RoyaleMap awareness, rotations, and longer engagements.Confirm the current Warzone build, playlist, and PC requirements.
ResurgenceFrequent re-engagements and squad coordination.Check the supported playlist and your product’s current release information.
BO7 MultiplayerMap-specific objectives and repeated encounters.Confirm Black Ops 7 support explicitly; Warzone support alone does not establish it.
RankedCompetitive rules and playlist eligibility.Check the current in-game eligibility and security notices before queuing.

PC attestation can also affect access. Activision’s Season 04 announcement described separate pools and restricted playlists for systems that fail verification, including effects on parties. A hardware or firmware issue can cause a failed check. Follow the latest in-game message and official attestation guidance.

Limited matchmaking and account status

Players often use “shadow ban” to describe matchmaking restrictions. A long queue alone does not establish your account’s status. Start with the exact message shown by the game, then use Activision’s official tools.

  1. Identify the message. “Failed Attestation Status” concerns PC security verification and should not automatically be called an account ban. Check TPM and Secure Boot guidance when that is the message you see.
  2. Check your account directly. Use Activision’s account-status page. Sign in on the official Activision site, never through a third-party “ban check” form.
  3. Read the status-specific rules. Activision says temporary bans and limited matchmaking are not eligible for appeal. Its policy does not promise a fixed clearance time for limited matchmaking. Review appeal eligibility and the enforcement policy.
  4. Keep the two support roles clear. ETERNAL can answer product and setup questions. Account restrictions and appeal decisions are handled by Activision.

No aiming percentage, field-of-view value, session length, or provider label can guarantee that an account will avoid enforcement.
